Absolutely Beautiful

What a beautiful scent. It has a slightly sweet, amber opening with a good kick of incenses and smoke. I don't really detect the florals but I'm sure they are there supporting the stronger amber and incense notes. I find it quite intoxicating and continually smell my arm throughout the day when wearing it. Layering it with Ambar Del Sur from the same house created an even more delightful aroma. I find Ambar Del Sur a little dry and not quite sweet enough, but when combined with Botafumeiro, they create one of the nicest, warmest and most comforting scents I have ever smelt. Having said that, Botafumeiro is still amazing on it's own. It is almost identical to Encens Suave by Matiere Premiere, but is a little kinder to the bank balance. This is definitely an autumn/winter fragrance. It could be a date nite fragrance or even worn to the office as long as you don't overspray as some people may not like the incense and spicy notes. Probably leans masculine due to the incense and spiciness but the sweetness makes it more than suitable for women. I can definitely recommend Botafumeiro to anyone looking for an incense forward fragrance. 9/10 Scent 8/10 Projection 7/10 Longevity.
