Dior Homme, a powdery iris and woody scent for men, was introduced in the original version in 2005 and then later came the new 2011 version. The 2020 version of Dior Homme Eau de Toilette is announced with the slogan "I'm Your Man." The 2011 edition remains on the shelves under the name, Dior Homme Original.

The new Dior Homme is created by Dior in-house perfumer Francois Demachy who wanted to redefine masculine sensuality. The fragrance is intensely woody, warm, and sensual. A virile accord of Atlas cedar and the warmth of cashmere wood are pampered with spicy aromas.

"This new Dior Homme has an unmistakably virile signature that does not prevent it from developing tender, sensual accents. It basically draws the portrait of a modern man." François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator.

According to the perfumer, this is a fragrance overdosed with carnal woody notes, and it represents a return to the basics: classic and simplicity. It is clear, clean, gentle, and woody but also slightly sweet, and wears like a second skin.

Excellent reformation!

Wonderful upper tier “Swiss Army Knife!” Most definitely signature worthy. I don’t see how anyone that’s honest could dislike this. For me it’s a welcome addition to the Dior lineup. Much more versatile! I’ll have to get a backup bottle as this has quickly moved up in my rotation. A Major Go!❤️ 10/10 for me! 👍🏾👍🏾

Ignore the hate

OK, it's not Homme 2011. The iris note is not here. But, if you take this as a new fragrance, it's fantastic. Any season, any time of day, any situation. I love it.

Not bad at all

A modern day take on what dior think men want. Are they right? Maybe, but I still prefer my iris. It's a great scent that is much easier to wear than the older one. All year round fragrance that won't offend anyone.
